Privacy Statement

HOSTCLEAN is committed to preserving the privacy of both our website visitors and our customers. The Privacy Policy detailed below outlines how we gather, use and protect the information you provide us. If you have any specific questions about HOSTCLEAN's Privacy Policy, please contact us via email at office@hostclean.net.

Visitors to Our website

What information do we collect?
When you visit our website, our web server collects basic user information about you that includes your ISP's domain, the time you accessed our website and the pages from within our website that you visit.
We may at times also use cookies, which are small pieces of information that a website can store in a designated file on your computer. Cookies allow a web application to respond to you as an individual.
While IP addresses (the address of a computer) are logged to track a user's session, the user's identity is anonymous. Tracking IP addresses gives HOSTCLEAN information about which parts of our site are used most often and what information is viewed. IP addresses are not linked to anything that can personally identify a visitor.

How do we use this information?
The basic user information collected is used to help us analyse web traffic and to improve the content of our website. Cookies may be used to facilitate your customer interaction with us. For example, we may use a cookie on the landing page of products sold online which record the customer information that is required on the order form, and then forward this information to our internal sales tracking database.
We may from time to time disclose to third parties aggregate information on our website's traffic profile. For example, Internet advertising companies may require this data to help us better target our advertisements on our website(s) and/or other websites.
Where our site provides links to products and services offered by other companies; the company's website that you link to will be able to determine that you linked from our website.

Your email address
We only collect and hold your email address in order to send you the newsletters and other information you have requested or agreed to receive. You can unsubscribe at any time for any reason, unreservedly.
If you ever have a problem with your subscription, feel free to contact us at office@hostclean.net

Special Reports/Offers
In addition to our regular, monthly Newsletter, we may occasionally send Special Reports or Offers that you may find valuable or that you have requested. These may include information about specific partners' or third party's products but will always be informative in nature and are always written by our own in-house editorial team.

Unsubscribing
We work hard to ensure that our visitors and customers only receive the communication they wish to have or that we are obliged to provide. As such you can unsubscribe from any newsletter or special report/offer communication any time. At the bottom of every email and newsletter we send out is a link that allows you to unsubscribe. That link also helps you change email addresses quickly and easily.
If for whatever reason using the link does not work, just email us at office@hostclean.net and we'll take care of it.

HOSTCLEAN Customers

What information do we collect?
When you sign up for HOSTCLEAN's services, you provide us with both contact and payment information. Contact information typically includes your name, address and phone number. Payment information typically includes your credit card number.
While you are a HOSTCLEAN customer, we manage information with regard to your account status, choice of services and customer logs. In addition, we may store customers' electronic mail and other communications as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.

How do we use this information?
We use the contact information you provide us with to establish our service for you. We use payment information for payment processing purposes only. We create and maintain other information such as customer account status, choice of services and customer logs in the normal course of providing a service. We may also use customer information to provide customers with system information, server status or information about new or upgraded products.

Information used by Third Parties
It is HOSTCLEAN's policy to never provide your personal information to third parties without your express permission or only in instances where such disclosure is needed to process transactions or provide products or services you have requested. So, we may share customer information with selected partners/third parties, for example, to provide you with information about additional products that might be of interest to you or to enable you to take advantage of special partner programs.
We will not otherwise disclose customer personal and account information unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of HOSTCLEAN, our customers, or others, or where HOSTCLEAN has good belief that the law requires such disclosure. Neither will HOSTCLEAN, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that HOSTCLEAN stores or transmits for its customers. The circumstances under which HOSTCLEAN will disclose such electronic customer communications are when:
1. It is necessary in order to provide service to the customer
2. It is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of HOSTCLEAN and its customers
3. It is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants or other legal processes that HOSTCLEAN determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable
4. It is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the contents are inadvertently obtained by HOSTCLEAN and appear to appertain to the commission of a crime.

HOSTCLEAN disclaims any intention to censor, edit or engage in ongoing review or surveillance of communications stored on or transmitted through its facilities by customers or others. HOSTCLEAN will, however, review, delete or block access to communications that may harm HOSTCLEAN, its customers or third parties. The grounds on which HOSTCLEAN may take such action include, but are not limited to, actual or potential violations of HOSTCLEAN's Terms of Use.

Unsubscribing
We work hard to ensure that our visitors and customers only receive the communication they wish to have or that we are obliged to provide. As such you can unsubscribe from any newsletter or special report/offer communication any time. At the bottom of every email and newsletter we send out is a link to your Control Panel – SiteControl – that allows you to unsubscribe from these communications. That link also helps you change email addresses quickly and easily.
Please note, however, that as part of the Terms of Use, HOSTCLEAN reserves the right to send bulletins and other important information regarding our services at our discretion.

Information Exchanges and Transactions
SSL Technology has been implemented throughout our order process system. Information exchanges and transactions, including authentication, passwords etc are strictly protected using this technology. This ensures that your session is completely private and secure from both external systems and other customers using our system.

Use of Cookies
Cookies are a text-only string of information that a website transfers to the cookie file of the browser on your computer's hard disk so that the website can remember who you are.
Unless you have indicated your objection when disclosing your details to us, our system will issue cookies to your computer when you log on to the site. Cookies make it easier for you to log on to and use the site during future visits. They also allow us to monitor website traffic and to personalise the content of the site for you.

Disabling/Enabling Cookies
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies by modifying the settings in your browser. However, you may not be able to use all the interactive features of our site if cookies are disabled. You can find out how to do this here.

Further Data Privacy Compliance
There may be instances where one of our resellers, affiliates or agents (website owners who promote and send out promotions about HOSTCLEAN's products to their own separate lists) contact somebody who has already unsubscribed directly from HOSTCLEAN's communications. While we, and the rest of the email industry, figure out how to manage suppression of names from third party lists as well, please accept our apologies if this happens and bear with us while we try and figure out the best way forward for this.
